It is located just below the Jadranska magistrala in the immediate vicinity of Brsečine. The beach is pebbly, and it got its name thanks to the large pebbles for which the name žal is customary in Dalmatia.

Trsteno Arboretum Natural beauty and the 500-year old giant natural monuments - Asian plane-trees. Trsteno boasts the 15th century renaissance summer residence of Gučetić-Gozze family, with its garden which has been cultivated from the 15th century to the present day.
